The story
The Beetle is one of the most widespread cars ever built: a rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-four engine and a body that stayed almost unchanged for decades. Simple, tough and easy to repair, which is why so many are still on the road.
This one is from 1962. Its book is short, just two pages: it shows the headlining and the rear seat in grey cloth, and the finished car in the yard, with chrome bumpers and the black Cuneo plate.

The headlining
The roof lining is in grey cloth, stretched in panels from the windscreen to the rear window and around the side windows, with no creases.

The rear seat
The rear bench is covered in grey striped cloth, in the same tone as the headlining and panels.
